The mission of the South Carolina Society of Medical Assistants is to enable medical assisting professionals to enhance and demonstrate the knowledge, skills and professionalism required by employers and patients; protect medical assistants’ right to practice; and promote effective, efficient health care delivery through optimal use of multi-skilled Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs).

The Pickens Chapter meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm.
These meetings are held at the Baptist Easley Hospital in the Private Dining room, located in the back of the hospital's cafeteria.
The Pickens Chapter continues to offer some really interesting education topics for Continuing Education Units (CEU). PCMA meetings and education are open to all CMA Students, Instructors, Directors and all Medical Professionals!
