Mission Statement

The mission of the South Carolina Society of Medical Assistants is to enable medical assisting professionals to enhance and demonstrate the knowledge, skills and professionalism required by employers and patients; protect medical assistants’ right to practice; and promote effective, efficient health care delivery through optimal use of multi-skilled Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs).

Meeting Information for 2018

We are meeting at Midlands Technical College – Airport Campus

 

Meeting Schedule: 2nd Saturday

December 8th – Christmas Luncheon

We are working on getting speakers from DHEC and Hawthorne’s pharmacy to come to our chapter meetings to present CEUs.

 

SCSMA Post Conference Update

Post Conference Update: We had so much fun at the 2018 SCSMA conference in Myrtle Beach. We are excitedly planning and getting ready to host the 2019 SCSMA conference in Columbia! The dates are March 14-17, 2019 at the Embassy Suites. We can’t wait to have a “sweet” time in Candy Land!
