Columbia Chapter of the South Carolina Society of Medical Assistants

The Columbia Chapter meets on the second Saturday of every month via Zoom and in person for the CEU’s sessions that require in-person attendance.

The Chapter offered 9 CEUs in 2023:

(Sexually Transmitted Infections) 1 CEU; April: Diabetes Mellitus Type 2, 1 CEU; May: Scleroderma: Autoimmune Disease, 1 CEU; June: Transgender Patients/Gender Affirming care, 1 CEU; August: All about Supplements 1 CEU; September: Eating Disorders 1 CEU; October: Medication Injections for Medical Assistants 1 CEU; November: Diets in American Society – Medical Diets vs Commercial diets 1 CEU.

The chapter maintains an account at Truist Bank and the treasury books have been audited and are in order.
