Columbia Chapter News

The Columbia Chapter of the SCSMA meets bi-monthly on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm. Chapter meetings beginning in October will meet at Midlands Technical College, Airport Campus in the Health Science Building Conference Room 221.

The March meeting education will be The Red Flag Rule, presented by Bobbie Sox, Practice Manager of The Eye Center. Please join us for an evening of education and networking with your fellow CMA’s. Remember the meeting is at 6:30pm at Midlands Technical College Airport Campus in the Health Science Building Conference Room 221.

The Annual Conference will be March 18 –21, 2010 in Charleston. Information on registration, hotel reservations, and the education that will be presented is located here on our website, CONFERENCE INFO The conference this year will be following the same type of agenda as AAMA National Conferences with Marketplace box lunches, and a Dessert Social on Friday evening along with the presentation of awards.

The Columbia Chapter will be offering the following education topics in 2010: The Red Flag Rule (3/16); Communication Technology: Twitter, Facebook, Skype, etc. (5/18); ICD-10 Snapshot (8/17); ICD9 Update for 2011 (10/19).
